impact of the internet
The internet will be a useful tool for this unit because the students will use it to collect data on different cities to compare and contrast weather for a period of time and through the four seasons. They can also look at photos and videos of different types of weather to gain a better understand of climates around the world.

This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQs, or formative assmessments in the following ways...
* we discussed using more technology to assess the standards (i.e., on -line assessment, on-line journals, student response system)
*formative assessments will include projects, portfolios, journals

Module 1
This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways:
- I will be more mindful about including several projects and purposeful "real world" tasks will in this unit as we design it.
- I want to integrate more technology for the students to use with this unit...maybe research weather on the internet, write a report, make a graph, etc.
