This module has helped me think about self-directed learners and the role of differentiation in the following ways...
The main think I thought about tonight was how to address and accommodate the different learning styles. For the visual learners, we have included several graphic organizers. We will also use lots of pictures. Almost everyday we will have "hands on" investigations which will work effectively for visual and kinesthetic learners. We will incorporate lots of discussion as we complete the KLW charts and reflections for the auditory learners.

impact of the internet
The internet will be a useful tool for this unit because the students will use it to collect data on different cities to compare and contrast weather for a period of time and through the four seasons. They can also look at photos and videos of different types of weather to gain a better understand of climates around the world.

Module 1
This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways:
- I will be more mindful about including several projects and purposeful "real world" tasks will in this unit as we design it.
- I want to integrate more technology for the students to use with this unit...maybe research weather on the internet, write a report, make a graph, etc.
